The Envirothon is an environmental competition for high school students in Nassau and Suffolk Counties.  It is based on five subject areas: aquatics, forestry, soils, wildlife, and the current issue—which change annually.  The winning team from each county will move on to participate in the New York State Environment

(held during the week of April 27th), and each member of the winning team from Nassau County and Suffolk County will received a scholarship of $500!

Volunteer Registration for the 2022 Regional Envirothon is now open! Registration will be open from February 1st - April 1st. Please note when completing the registration form the Nassau and Suffolk Counties are Region 5.
